Four Ashes Golf Centre’s Daanyal Spalding will be amongst players from all over the country lining up for the Euro Pro Tour’s eighth tournament of the season, The PDC Championship, at Studley Wood Golf Club, in Oxfordshire.
It will be Daanyal’s fourth tournament of the year, since winning his card two months ago, and last time out he not only won his first pay cheque of the season with a strong performance, he also achieved a hole in one!
Daanyal will be among 156 starters in the latest event of the EuroPro Tour campaign – the level just below the European PGA Tour – which starts tomorrow, and ends on Friday.
Competitive line-up
“I was really pleased with my performance at Frilford Heath a few weeks ago, and obviously the hole in one was a highlight – it’s just a shame the Sky Sports cameras only film the final day, because I did that on the opening day,” said Daanyal.
“As you’d expect, it’s a very competitive line-up, but I’m full of confidence in every tournament I play, and I’m confident too that I’m due a really strong performance soon; hopefully the sooner the better.
“But as always, I will be giving it my very best, and as always I’m looking forward to being involved.
